Een nieuwe woning

Hallo!

Een vriendin van mij heeft een tijdje terug de sleutel van haar 1e huisje gekregen en gaat bijna verhuizen. Dus...tijd om een verhuiskaartje te maken.

Het leek mij leuk om weer een combinatie te maken van borduren en scrappen. Voor het kaartje heb ik een borduurpatroon van Ann's Paper Art gebruikt (a712)

De layout is een sketch op Crazy 4 Challenges. Het papier komt uit een paperbloc van de Action en een Sizzix blokje. Dit laatste heb ik door de cuttlebug heen gehaald in de mal "devine swirl' om zo een speels effect te krijgen.

De bloemetjes zijn ook gestanst met de cuttlebug en Joy! mallen. Het roze bloemetje heb ik gekocht bij Hobbyshop Christa.

Hi there,

A while ago a friend of my receive the key of her first appartment and she will move in a short time to her new home. So time for me to make a card for her.

I like the idea for making a card combine stitching with scrapping. So i stitch a key pattern with a pattern of Ann's Paper Art (a712)

I used the layout of the sketch on Crazy 4 Challenges. The paper i've used are from a paperbloc from a dutch store "action" and a Sizzix paperbloc. I embossed the paper from the Sizzix paperbloc with the cuttlebug folder "devine swirl'

The flowers are also made with the cuttlebug with a die cut flower of Joy! I bought the flower in the middle of the die cut from Christa's Hobbyshop.

Hallo allemaal,

Al een aantal weken ben ik bezig met een bestelling van vrienden van mijn ouders. Kaarten met bootjes of maritiem kaartjes. Leuke opdracht, maar niet altijd even eenvoudig (de andere zal ik tzt showen hoor)

Voor de afwisseling wilde ik met 1 van de 3D plaatjes ook eens een scrapkaartje maken (de andere zijn tot nu toe geborduurd). De sketch op Moving along with the times, paste perfect bij het plaatje wat nu natuurlijk wel een vereiste was.

Het papier op de achtergrond is voor mij onbekend. Heb het eens gehad van een vriendin. Om het voor de rest wat rustiger te houden heb ik ervoor gekozen verder geen design papier te gebruiken.

I've been busy a couple of weeks now with a card order to make cards with boats or marine cards. It's nice to make, but not simple all the time. (i will show you the other cards soon)

I thought it would be a nice idea to make a scrapcard with a 3D image instead of the combine with stitching (like the other cards) So i search for a nice sketch for the 3D image and saw a pretty one on Moving along with the times blog.

I don't know which paper i have used on the background, i got it from a friend of mine.

Butterfly Birthday Greetings

Hallo allemaal,

Eindelijk weer een berichtje op mijn blog. Tis alweer even geleden dat ik hier was.
Heb in de tussentijd zeker niet stil gezeten, maar had diverse opdrachtjes die ik hier helaas nog niet kan laten zien.

Vandaag heb ik wel iets gemaakt wat ik kan laten zien. Namelijk een kaartje voor mijn binnenkort jarige schoonmoeder. Ze is dol op vlinders dus wat kan een kaartje beter bevatten dan....juist een vlinder.

In plaats van een stempel met een vlinder heb ik deze eens geborduurd. Met een patroon van Ann's Paper art (a711). De layout van het kaartje is gebaseerd op een sketch van Dutch Card Lovers.

Het papier is afkomstig van paperblocs gekocht bij de Action (wat wou ik dat er hier 1 wat dichterbij zat, zou wat minder gunstig voor de portemonnee zijn maar wat een leuke snuffel zaak).

Finally a message on my blog. It is a while ago i show some of my cards.
But i haven't do nothing. I was busy with several cards for people who wanted to buy them, i cannot show them already but the were coming when i can.

But today i made a card i can show you. I made it for my mother in law who is celebrating her birthday coming week. She loves butterflies, so what ingredient does my card need....yes...a butterfly.

To make it a bit special i stitch the butterfly instead of stamping it. It's a stitching pattern of Ann's Paper Art (a711). I based my card on the sketch on Dutch Card Lovers.
The papier i've used is from paperblocs from a Dutch store Action. (I wish i had a store next to my house, but i don't think it's a good idea for my purse)
