Jongenskaart ** Card for a boy

Hallo,

Vandaag wil ik jullie een jongenskaart laten zien die ik gemaakt heb met de layout op Catch the Bug Challenge blog. Toen ik de layout zag moest ik direct aan dit leuke Bugaboo stempeltje "Itchy dog bowl" denken.

Het papier wat ik voor dit kaartje heb gebruikt komt uit een Action Paperpad.
Het stempeltje 'Van Harte" is van Crealies.

The card i want to show you today i made with the sketch on Catch the Bug Challenge blog. When i saw the layout made by Stella i thought immediately on this cute Bugaboo stamp "Itchy dog bowl" which i think it's awesome! 

The papers are coming from a (dutch store) Action Paperpad, and the text stempel below with "Van Harte" (congratulations in dutch) is coming from Crealies.

Vintage stijl ** Vintage style

Hallo bloggers,

Jullie zien het, ben de laatste tijd wel erg actief aan het bloggen, maar heb dan ook de kaartjes weer even helemaal te pakken!

Vandaag wil ik jullie een kaartje laten zien welke ik gemaakt heb met de sketch op Nederlandse Kaarten Uitdaging. Ik viel gelijk voor de layout, maar ik weet nog steeds niet of ik wel goed genoeg ben in 'vintage stijl kaartjes', welke hier gevraagd werd.

Wel zo'n blog heeft niet voor niks het woord "uitdaging" in de titel, dus besloot deze uitdaging dan ook maar aan te gaan.

Dit is mijn kaartje geworden:

Hi Blog friends,

As you see; i'm quite active the past few days on my blog. But i'm in a card making flow I think, so today another blog message. 

I made this card with the sketch on "Nederlandse Kaarten Uitdaging" blog. I fell in love with the sketch immediately, but they asked for a vintage style card. I still don't know if i'm good enough in making vintage style cards. But eh the word "Challenge" is in the title of the blog, so i thought i would take this challenge.

This is my card:

 

Papier komt zowel uit een paperpad van Action als van Fabscraps. Ook van dit laatste papier merk komt mijn voorraadje tot een einde, dus kan enkel en allen nog maar de restjes gebruiken. Het plaatje is van een knipvel van Marianne Design, en zoals jullie zien heb ik alle randjes beinkt met bruine inkt om de kaart nog een 'extra oude look' te geven. Tenslotte de swirls heb ik gemaakt met een stans van Crealies

Papers are coming from a Paperpad from (a dutch store called) Action and from Fabscraps. The Fabscraps papers are nearly done, so i have only leftovers to play with. The image is coming from a decoupage sheet from Marianne Design, and as you can see i put brown ink on the sides of the papers, to give the card the extra 'vintage look'. The swirls are made with a die cut from Crealies.

Klein meidje ** Little girl

Hallo,

Vandaag een kaartje gemaakt met de sketch van Sketch N Stash.
Het kaartje is op de cardstock na volledig gemaakt met materialen die ik van een hobbymaatje kreeg. :)

Om het afdrukje te laten kloppen heb ik de layout een kwart slag gedraaid.

Beside the cardstock i made the whole card with materials i got as a present from a hobbyfriend.

To make the stamp image fit i had to rotate the sketch.

Happy Purr-day!

Hallo bloggers,

Poeh he... ik had mij voorgenomen om niet te 'klagen' over het warme weer. Maar dit is toch wel een beetje te warm voor mij geloof ik. Dus heb ik vanmiddag met mijn voeten in een emmer water (wie geen zwembad heeft moet slim zijn) onder de parasol dit scrapkaartje gemaakt.

Ik heb voor dit verjaardagskaartje de layout van Sketch Saturday gebruikt. In eerste instantie had ik een ander plan als plaatje, maar omdat dit niet lukte (ging om een tekening die de jarige zelf heeft gemaakt) ben ik toch maar over gegaan op een stempel van Penny Black (nine lives set). 

Het papier is van Basic Grey. Helaas gaat deze paperpad echt wel heel snel bij mij, dus moet maar eens over op een nieuwe leuke 'mannenlijn'. Iemand nog leuke tips of suggesties?

Hi blog friends

Ouch...i had planned not to complain about the warm weather in The Netherlands, but i think this weather is a couple of degrees too hot for me (31 degrees Celcius in shadow). So this afternoon i took a bucket of cold water and planted my feet in it, and made under the parasol (?) this scrap card. 

I used for this birthday card the sketch from Sketch Saturday. I wanted to use a drawing from the birthday boy himself first but when it didn't worked out the way i wanted i used this stamp image of Penny Black from the nine Lives set. 

Papers are from Basic Grey. Unfortunately there isn't much left of this paperpad, so i have to look for another one. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Zomerjurkje ** Summer dress

Hallo!

Naast het maken van kaartjes vind ik het ook erg leuk om zo nu en dan achter de naaimachine te zitten. Ik kom dan ook graag iedere week bij het naaiclubje wat hier in de buurt zit. Toen ik daar kwam wist ik niet eens hoe mijn naaimachine werkt, maar intussen ben ik wel aardig vertrouwd met mijn machien en maak ik graag kleren en tassen voor mezelf en andere.

Vorige week heb ik weer een nieuw projectje afgerond. Een tuniek/ jurkje wat in de Knipmode van juni 2013 stond. Ik ben erg tevreden met het resultaat.

Moet met het dragen nog wel een beetje wennen aan de 'vleermuismouwen' want dat draag ik normaal niet zo vaak. Maar tot nu toe al leuke reacties gehad

Hi!

I love to sew beside my other hobbies like card making and knitting ect. One of the favourite time of the week is going to my sewing club, which is nearby where i live. When i started to join the club i didn't knew how to use my own sewing machine and now the machine and i become friends more and more. I really like to make clothes and bags for others and myself.

Last week i finished another project. This tunic/ dress from the June 2013 magazine Knipmode (dutch). I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

I only have to get used to the 'bat sleeves' normally i don't wear them very often. Some people gave me already some compliments about the dress, which is very nice

Creaine Scrap en Borduurblog #23

Hallo!

Vandaag is er weer een nieuwe challenge op Creaine Scrap en Borduurblog van start gegaan.
Deze maand is het thema: maak een borduurkaart in de kleur blauw.

Voor mijn Design Team kaartje heb ik gekozen voor een borduurpatroon van Ann's Paper Art (Patroon a673). En een 3D plaatje uit een ouder knipvel wat bij een Hobbyjournaal zat.

Today another challenge on Creaine Scrap en Borduurblog started.
This month's theme: a stitching card in blue colourtones

I choose a stitching pattern of Ann's Paper Art (pattern a673) to make my Design Team card. I used an 3D decoupage sheet which came with an older Hobbyjournaal.

Opkikker ** Get Well card

Hallo!

Voor de yahoogroep "Kaartenmaatjes" doe ik mee met een stempelafdrukjes swap. Deze maand kreeg ik dit afdrukje en ben met de layout op Sketch Saturday aan de slag gegaan.

Het afdrukje is van een stempel van Marianne Design. De papiertjes zijn weer uit een Action Paperpad. Het afdrukje is gekleurd met Derwent potloden.

I'm joining a stamp image swap on the (dutch) yahoogroup "Kaartenmaatjes". This month i got this lovely stamp image. I played with the sketch on Sketch Saturday.

The stamping image is from Marianne Design. I used papers from a paperpad from a (dutch) store Action. I coloured the image with Derwent pencils.
